California’s Online Portal

The California Secretary of State is launching an enhanced bizFile Online portal for Business Entities and Uniform Commercial Code. Please be advised that the Go-Live Launch Date has been pushed back 1 week to April 7, 2022.

During this transition, many filings must be submitted over the counter, however, unless you require a specific file date, the CA SOS is recommending that you wait until the new system is live. For counter-submitted filings: the date of submission will be the file date, however filings are not being reviewed until after the launch of the new system and will be reviewed second to those filings submitted via the new system.
